Aurinkokarhu Oy was founded in 2022 by three entrepreneurs with extensive experience in energy, infrastructure, and project development. With a focus on large-scale energy and data center projects, the company develops solar farms (PV), battery energy storage systems (BESS), hybrid parks, and data centers that contribute to the energy transition and the digital infrastructure of the future.

We identify strategic project sites, secure land agreements, drive permitting processes, and advance projects through permitting, grid connection and technical design to Ready-to-Build (RtB) status. Once projects reach Ready-to-Build status and a Grid Connection Agreement has been secured, we seek strategic partnerships with investors and industry partners to advance projects into construction and operation.

Aurinkokarhu combines technical expertise, regulatory understanding, and commercial discipline to develop projects with attractive risk-adjusted returns. Our pipeline is positioned to meet the growing demand for flexible and grid-stabilizing energy infrastructure in Finland and the rest of Europe.

In 2025, Aurinkokarhu generated approximately EUR 8 million in revenue. The company continues to strengthen its position as a developer of large-scale energy and data center projects through a growing project portfolio and long-term partnerships with leading investors and industry players.
