Our energy projects

Information about our ongoing projects

We develop energy projects throughout Finland

We develop energy projects that contribute to the green transition and strengthen the stability of the electricity system. Battery storage is a central part of the energy infrastructure of the future, enabling balance control, frequency stabilization, and efficient integration of renewable energy.

We are currently developing around 30 solar energy projects with a total capacity of approximately 1200 MW. A typical solar park has a capacity of 20–200 MW, but we are also developing smaller facilities in the range of 500 kW–20 MW. Of these projects, approximately 10 are hybrid parks that combine solar power with battery storage, enabling increased flexibility and improved grid integration.

At the same time, we are developing 12 battery energy storage projects (BESS) with a total planned capacity of approximately 1600 MW. The size of the projects varies from 2 MW to 350 MW, and they are geographically spread from Muhos in the north to Inkoo in the south. Our projects are at different stages of development – from early planning to obtaining permits and starting construction. The largest battery storage project that has been granted a building permit to date has a capacity of 125 MW / 500 MWh, and the largest solar park with an approved building permit amounts to 108 MWp.
