The project is currently one of the largest BESS initiatives in Finland, with a planned capacity of 125 MW/500 MWh. This project will play an important role in strengthening Finland’s energy storage capacity and supporting the ongoing transition toward a more resilient and renewable energy system.
The successful development of the project has been made possible through close cooperation with local stakeholders and Aurinkokarhu’s trusted advisors Etha Oy, Futureal Energy Partners, and Hillforth Development AB.
